You sure you wern't feeding the troops back in the day Martin. Proper camp kitchen you have there now fella. Stu's Bannock looks good too and liking the use of the billy there.

cheers mate, it's pretty much the recipe from your website as it happens, although on that occasion there was no suet in the mix. the billy is actually and old stainless pan from the kitchen that the handle broke off, i actually took the lid from a different pan because it fit better uside down. a bit of hard won advice, if you ever do the same thing, wait until your significant other is looking the other way! the explaination as to why it has to be that particular lid and not the one it came with can take days and days and days and days, bless her.
