Snugpak elite pile shirt ....Just a little word on my thoughts about my elite pile shirt that i have owned for over a year , fantastic garment , cheap at £55.00 from bearclaw bushcraft . It is warm and waterproof . I have been up all the lakeland fells in it and its kept me dry and warm yet by using the zip vents i dont get too hot or sweaty either . So it has withstood the cold ,the wet ,the wind and snow and all i wear underneeth it is either a t-shirt or a helly hansen dry top . And as mentioned before cheap real cheap about half the price of a buffalo.

I'm looking to replace my aging buffalo, so this is of interest to me, does it come with a hood, or like the buff can you purchase one as an extra ?.
It comes with two, a double ply pertex job and a pile and pertex one thats very warm and better cut than the standard Buffalo one( although I've not tried the big one Buffalo now do as well) good big sizes too! It also came with a neat little compression bag.
I love mine to bits and its a definate improvement on the old plie shirt. Its just a shame they don't like sparks which is partly why I got my Endicotts smock.
