Anything that Ray Mears listens to for me. :p

Creepy !!! :lmao: :lmao:

There`s quite a few electronic tracks on Rays programmes, there`s definitely a couple of classic Leftfield tracks on Extreme Survival. :1244:

Electronic/Dance is the future, come on there must be more than 3 of us on here ??

The banks of the Deveron.
Eclectic - but indy and electronic.

I have Damien Rice - red hot chili peppers - blur - zero 7 and leftfield and all between, but no thrash, glam rock or techno, and there is as much difference between garage and techno as there is between Foreigner and Iron Maiden, maybe more:tapedshut .

So yeah Eclectic

Well i had to put rock (in all its forms from classic, metal, punk and goth) as thats what I listen to the most.... but I'm probably more a classical and folk person as thats what I play the most when my mates pop over with a few beers (its makes us sound better), but I dont have any folk or classical on my mp3 player..... then again we do alot of fusion stuff.... like Iron Maidens 'The Trooper' played on a classical spanish guitar, mandolin and yours truely on the penny whistle.... what a tune :)

I've gone for Folk. Anything from Trad Irish and Scottish to Steeleye Span, Maddy Prior, John Tams and a myriad of others too numerous to mention.

The Clash :)

also John Tams Sharpe theme tune is relaxing to listen to, is that Folk? anyone know anymore songs like this please? :)

Look up John Tams on Amazon, he's done a whole load of albums including music from Sharpe.

i am with loz on this one. "classical" or to be more accurate, western art music. A. there is a much larger playlist available (it would take a good portion of your life to listen to all of bach's work alone) B. i feel it is much more diverse a listening experiance.
having to choose one piece alone, not a chance. although in classical, my current favourite is Carl Orff's Carmina burana. (saw it the other day. orchestra and four choir's,soprano, tenor and contra-tenor. there were as many performers as audience.)
but in the real world, who can choose one brand of music? me, i love playing blues slide guitar, and i love playing a bit o improv jazzy funky stuff on my classical beater. i have my dirty great electric to rock out with. add in the keyboards, the software synths, argh!! so much possibility!! its great :)

I had to put classical, Being a ClassicFM listener I have noticed that many of my favourites are becoming classics such as Queen symphony etc. If it's any good it will become a classic eventually.

are there no punks left in the world?!?!?!?!?
what's wrong with you people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in all honesty there's only been one band/artist mentioned so far that i don't really like, and even then there's a few songs that i like by them, i think i'm a little too easy going to answer this one. although if pushed i'd (obviously) go for punk!

Folk - as it covers everything from Thi Lizzies "whiskey in the jar" to June "depression" Tabour to Bob Dylan to the most trad of Irish to any ethnic groupings traditional music...
Basically folk has it all!

Yep, I agree with that. Whilst I love metal, rock, gothic, industrial and classical, I would say that folk is best because it doesn't need any electronic gagetry, and can be played using even the most basic of tools, like sticks, stones, spoons, bits of string, etc.
