Robert Saunders Storm Master tent. Information please

Hi I am new to this site but hope someone can help. My daughter has been given a tent which turns out to be a Robert Saunders Storm Master. It looks to be in very good condition for it's age and although I haven't any instructions, I have put it up.

Can anyone tell me anything about these tents?

Have always liked the Saunders tents and still have my Spacepacker plus I bought in the eighties, in fact as soon as it came out, but from what I can discover about the Storm master is that is a simple sloping ridge or A-frame design and it like the Spacepacker is pitched fly first, to have silicone nylon flysheets and is well known to be bomb proof in storms and is somewhat of a rarity in the Saunders world and in that well worth restoring if restoration is needed and kept to use as at 1.5kg packed and approx 15 inch by 4 inch they fit inside a rucksack. Oh and I read saunders tents are poplar in the bushcrafting world. But some info from my spacepacker, is oft I didn't bother hanging the inner tent to just exist under the fly

Thanks for the information. Having erected the tent it looks to be a snug 2 man and is in very good condition. One guy rope has been replaced and it looks to have had a minor repair to one of the fly sheet pegging out points. No rips or tears to either the inner or fly. Would you have any idea of its value and where best to sell please?

This one on eBay has been relisted about four times at the same price ( about £50), no sale.

EBay still gets traffic and isn’t a bad place to sell. Most forums will charge to sell and for one item of this value it comes rather high.

The general value of Robert Saunders tents appears to cary widely.

For value, don’t look at what people are trying to sell for, look at the Sold listings.

Generally what pre owned things are worth is what folks are prepared to pay for them and followers of Saunders tents tend to be a more specialised bunch, bushcrafters am told and some more discerning backpackers probably oldies that perhaps pine for back in the day.

A quick question to the internet : How do Robert Saunders tents compare with modern tents I receive the quick answer :

Robert Saunders tents are widely regarded as superior in durability and design innovation compared to many modern equivalents, though they may lag in absolute weight and finishing precision.

The places my Spacepacker's been and what it's survived within the UK, my sister being a climber had it for a while to tell me where in the world it's been. Did my Queen's Scout and DofE Gold expedition with that tent.
