Looking for some advice on upgrading my hammock.
I currently have a Tenth Wonder green hornet and I think I want something asymmetric to get a better lay.

I have been looking at the Hennessy explorer XL and the blackbird xlc - is the blackbird really £100 better than the Hennessy?

Has anyone actually used both and can compare them?

Thanks in advance
Mike

I have had both. The Hennessy was a "bottom entry" model and actually I really liked it. It was comfy enough but still gave a nice view out and I liked the simple webbing and rope system with not having to tie any knots. I liked too the snake skins and the hex fly. all really top stuff.

The warbonnet was the double thick version and was also very comfortable... probably 3% more comfort but I felt much more inside it without a view... I got lots of dutch bits for it and it became a bit of a hobby but if I were to get a hammock now to sleep in, I would probably go back to the Hennessy.

Thankyou for your thoughts Squidders.
I'm looking at the zip entry rather than bottom entry.
As far as suspension goes, I have whoopie slings on the tenth wonder at the moment so will likely do the same on the new hammock (after playing with the stock setup first...)
