A few pallets of plumbers copper pipes in commonly used diameters might be worth consideration if you have the space to store them for a couple of years. I wonder what the most tax efficient option would be for this trade?
I don't know an awful lot about copper, but I'm going to guess that much like silver, pure stamped bars are worth more than scrap? It'll also take up a lot less room.

Is there much of a market for copper bars? I don't know much about copper either but I would hazard a guess that plumbers pipes would be easier to sell than bars.

Also if you can buy plumbers pipes in bulk for a discount you could sell it on in small quantities at a higher premium later. That way you can potentially make a profit on any change in the metal price and a second profit on the premiums as well. Maybe...?

Yes, copper bars and coins sell often in bullion groups I'm in, and appear to be gaining in popularity.

I have got a pile to weigh in next week. there is about 100 kg. Duno what I will get x
you might get a better price advertising it in the sailing media - it's melted down to make keel weights for one-off and repair jobs. 100kg would be about right. They have to pay a premium to obtain it from the few that deal in bulk lead. There are several UK boat kit firms who would probably be pleased to pass your info on to their customers.

Property Vs land. Recent changes to being a landlord have made the proposal of holding property rather more difficult.

Nice historical over view of FIAT and PM's , currency , trade etc

I haven’t watched that specific video you shared but it’s made by the now famous 'AI Asian guy'. He/it suddenly appeared a few month ago when the metals took off and started getting more attention. He/it has several different channels under various usernames which release a new video seemingly every half an hour and they all look the same. The content sounds good on the surface, about 80% is true and correct which makes it seem credible but if you actually check some of the details he claims or things he quotes you will find them to be incorrect. Not just mistaken or slightly wrong but completely and totally unrelated to what he claims is was. His/it’s content is unreliable and can not be trusted in my opinion.

I prefer to stick to the tried and trusted real people which I've already been following for many years. The channels listed below are all ones which I know from over five years of experience to have good track records for being honest and correct with their content.

I think the main over view of PM's being money - currency being FIAT and when and where certain countries have detethered and why provides enough guidance to be relatable.

Yes sorry. My comment was a generalized comment about the 'AI Asian Guy'. I didn't mean to distract away from the content of that specific video you shared.

I agree it's very important for people to learn and understand the differences between real money and fiat currency. Especially over the next few years as our current fiat based financial system approaches the end of it century long natural life cycle and will soon be replaced by the next one. Anyone who attempts to hold their wealth the current fiat system (either directly as fiat currency in a bank or as any fiat currency backed/denominated investments such as pensions or bonds) will likely end up being very poor after the transition into the next financial system has taken place.

This process is nothing new. It has happened many times before throughout history. Just not within our own life times. Each financial system cycle takes about a century (give or take a few decades) to play out before ending and starting again with a new one. Each time it happens it follows the same general patterns as before (specific details and levels of technology involved may vary but the underlying fundamentals always stay the same) and this current financial system is behaving just the same as all the previous ones have. This isn't anything to fear once you understand what's happening. In fact it can be quite the opposite provided you financially prepare for it beforehand. This is a massive once in a life time opportunity which you can actually prosper from if you're ready for it. Learn from history. This has happened before.
