Surprisingly perhaps - but almost certainly Honey Fungus (Armillaria mellea). Surprising, because I have found it in a lot of grassland recently which probably indicates the site of old woodland or deadwood below the surface. I was in a wood on Sunday where it was rampant and covering large areas of deadwood.

The Saharan dust we've had in the air today has shrouded us in a weird atmosphere. The sunset was strange too.
