Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Chris from Leeds and have been into bushcraft for a number of years though so far this year, I've barely had a free weekend to indulge...life comes at you fast, doesn't it?

Hoping there's a bit more "me time" available later in the year.

In addition to bushcraft, I enjoy hiking and I've recently turned my hand to archery (very much a work in progress, is that)!

One area I'm keen to develop my knowledge is plant identification/foraging. Any suggestions on any courses or good source material?

Hope to catch everyone around. Really good to see a nice active forum.

Now then. Used to live just outside Leeds, you're not far from lots of great outdoors!

Suggestion for plant/fungi ID and foraging is to watch Wild Food UK's videos on YouTube. They are what helped me get into foraging and mycology in general: https://www.youtube.com/@WildFoodUK1

Welcome. There is all sorts on here. You will find many foraging threads and you can ask all the questions you want x
