I enjoy this thread too much to let it stagnate.
I’ve already suffered the curse of unwanted gifts and understand the problem.
I don’t want the book but I shall accept the curse.
I’ll make an offer - well, I’ll try - a soon as I’ve dug something out.

If you enjoy this thread, it’s worth having some odd bits of stuff tucked away so that you can respond if something that you want turns up.

My 120K has just smashed the tubular frame.
If anyone wants to experiment with just the hammock (with its end tubes) I’ll post that to you as a “gift it on“
The frame is off down the tip.
I’ve been rummaging and will post something sensible (ish) soon but I’ve also found this and it’s an odd one.
It’s dusty and it’s heavy.
It’s never been used and I have no idea whether it would work without its frame.
There is a slot for your magazine that could hold some clothes and a cup holder that might hold your indoor plumbing.
Now I’ll look for something sensible.

I’m putting something together but I’m off with the tipi again for a few days.
If In the meantime anyone wants part of a crushed hammock (it’s a lot jollier than a camo one) or the book offered by @FerlasDave then that’s fine.

Ok so no takers on the book then. How about this UCO mini candle lantern, it holds a tea light and gives off a nice warm glow when in camp.

Up for grabs is a traditional hand forged flint and steel kit.
High carbon steel striker, some very good char cloth, 2 pieces of good flint and a bone dry tinder bundle to get you started, all in a nice leather pouch.

Well it worked out for me in the end!
