I will be attending Lords wood on the above dates, if anyone cares to join me,
(minimum 6 confirmed) just enter your name and availability below. I will resume collecting firewood for the communal fire, clearing and brash burning opening up further glades for us to use and letting the woodland breathe again! please bring any sharps and tools you feel will contribute.

Collecting dead standing or fallen wood for your small ground protected fire is fine.

And for those yet to attend Lords Wood,
There are a few guidelines here, and that's as far as 'rules' go.

These are very relaxed and friendly meets. If you need clarification on anything, just ask,

I am getting my Car MOT'ed on Friday and I am expecting some work to be involved so unlikely to be able to make it. I may be able to pop in if I am lucky, so may be a visit during the Saturday or Sunday?

Hi, Lords Wood has been subject to torrential rain overnight and this will continue into the coming days according to the latest weather report. I suspect it will almost certainly impact vehicle movements across the top field. I will be going up there this morning to check it out and will update this post.

The top field is impassable by vehicles without making it a mud heap, which the farmer wouldn't want. He agrees the weather is going to be dire over the next few days, this combined with low attendance numbers. Meet Canceled .

Thanks for the update, it’s chucking it down here as well. My local wood was a swamp this morning when I walked the dog. Hopefully see you all at the next one.

This is awkward Chay, i posted the cancelation up on Wednesday midday both on the main thread and a pm to you direct. You have never been before and i am unavailable to show you. Also the farmer knows the meet has been cancelled, so sorry mate no.
