This is my first bit of whittling for the year as per my new years resolution. It’s a coffee scoop specifically made to reach our bean to cup machine which is squeezed awkwardly under a shelf in the kitchen. It’s carved from a blackthorn branch I harvested a while back and is aged/stained with coffee (seemed appropriate given its intended use). I’ve deliberately left a lot of the tooling marks showing to give it a rustic look that will hopefully look the part in our equally rustic kitchen
