Spent a couple of hours in the wood yesterday prepping a bit of wood for the early birds, should be enough for the first night on the middle pitch.

June is is the month brambles appear and they didn't disappoint! Hammocking is definitely the best mode this month

Able to make the extra day, time booked off work for good behaviour. This weekend I was teaching guys survival fires and shelters at work. they enjoyed it, will probably leave some of the stuff in the car so people can have a play over the weekend with some different fire methods and shelter kit. Will add some stuff for the car boot sale as normal as well. I am trying out some of my new stuff that I got at the bushcraft show as well, with a bit of relaxing as well thrown in.

I just booked tickets for a concert in Wolverhampton Thursday night. It would be good to pitch Thusday PM and come back late in the evening.

can't commit ourselves at the moment. Alison's mum passed away a week ago but the funeral isn't until the 29th.
I think she is keen to get away for the weekend as it might aid in the healing process. Woods always seem such peaceful places close to nature.
