Happy 4th, Santaman. We did our thing July 01. One Chesapeake didn't care about thunder or fireworks, the other one goes crazy with fear.
Bought her a Thundershirt = tight fitting body vest with Velcro to cinch up snug. They work.

Come dusk yesterday we went out back and I finally got to put my wood gas stove to good use. I cooked up some hotdogs and burgers for a 4th dinner while my wife played with some extra long sparklers. Then we had Smores, marshmallows toasted over a wood fire....Yum!! Couldn't find any Graham crackers but digestiff biccies worked well.
