Decent axes on sale in B&Q

Just went over there to buy a hatchet I'd seen in a leaflet, 1.25 lb head, hickory handle for £8.

Got there and they have a 2.5 lb head one with a hickory handle as well for £10.

I don't know how long they're on offer for but you can't go wrong for that price, especially the 2.5 pounder.

They come with a very basic cover and a rubber blade cover.

Thought I'd let you all know!

Test how hard the blade is with small file and it comes back not as soft as cheese, it may be worth a buy!

I'd argue not ideal for felling. No axe is ideal for felling, chainsaws and large amounts of explosives are ideal for felling
