A couple of weeks ago I found a VGC Filson wool shirt in a charity shop for 7 euros. Just had a look on Filsons website and its a Filson Jac shirt, brand new 210 dollars!! Result:)

On Mondy I picked up a used but vgc stainless kelly kettle and a Gransfors Bruks wildlfe hatchet, I wont rub it in over how much I spent but I was a very happy boy. The axe was shear luck a box of stuff had just been donated and the manager was going through it as I walked in, I saw it poking out of the box and asked how much, she made up a price there and then as they do not sell tools like that, 5 mins later and it would have been in the bin:)

Happy Days

I once got a pair of broadswords for £20 from a charity shop in Otley :D. Gave one to a friend when he finished his History degree.

A pair of broadswords is a very dangerous purchase. I once scored a couple of lances and shields for jousting with. Coupled with two mountain bikes and youth-inspired levels of alcohol and several members of our group ended up in A+E!

Not quiet charity shop but got a dutch oven plus a Chinese water stone for £20, the same person does long nets, hammock netting, tree hugging webbing and god knows what else she has loads of stuff including leather suitable for making moccasins, rot proof thread the list is endless.

great find.. I've had a pair of small pentax bins for ages .. very like yours and they are amazing.. every one that's tried them says they're great.. and really good close focus... I love charity shops too...
