In the Mountains
It was raining all last night and this morning over here so I thought this would be a good opportunity to head to one of the mountain valleys near here for a sunday walk .
Normally at this time of year this valley is an outdoor tourist hiking hotspot however I figured that due to the rain they would all probably rather stay in there hotel bedrooms :) I was not wrong I had the valley almost to myself . The only other person I saw was a lone hunter who had just shot a deer , he had obviously had the same idea as me.

Anyway I thought I would share some photos from my walk of some of the things I saw :)

Hi,

Just goggled gentian, looks different.

I think the one in your photo, the same as I saw, looks more like a tulip head and less green leaves below the head. Almost bluebell like. Wish I had taken my camera out now, although it was south facing so I was overheating going up the slope !

Aha, found them !

You know the difference between a bluebell and a ‘Scots bluebell’, one of the best known of the flowers of Scotland? Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) usually grow in woodland in great swathes. ‘Scots bluebells’ are harebells (in English) and are really Campanula rotundifolia. (Stop me if I get too technical.) They’re common on heathland and verges, though the ones shown (left) have a sandy background as they were growing by the shores of Loch Tay, near Killin, Perthshire.

Such a beautiful landscape, thanks for sharing. I plump for the harebell as well, not much else they could be.

And the mushrooms, first I'd hazard a guess at Pleurotus ostreatus (Oyster Mushrooms), and the second one, Hydnum rufescens (Terracotta hedgehog), 3rd is Coprinopsis atramentaria (Ink Cap) - did you eat the shrooms?

Wonderfull set op pictures again!
Thanks!

As for the flowers; I think the first ones are Campanula and the second ones an Aconitum-species.
