Rough Close March '12 Meet

Quick question... has anyone coming got a complete bowdrill kit including bow already made up and ready to go?

Reason I'm asking is I've a young lad coming as a guest who would love to give it a go but I don't have the time to source the bits locally.

If you can help out and bring a set with you I'd be very grateful

Sales / Trades / Swaps at the Meet are fine. The usual forum rules apply and are extended to cover the site and also my self (unless I have a vested interest in the transaction).


We'll arrange a time and place at some point between Friday eve and Saturday morn.

Im gonna be slumming it in a normal 2 man tent this weekend,but I must admit I am looking forward to having a little look at some this hammocking stuff that I keep hearing about!!
I dont think I have ever seen a hammock in my life let alone slept in 1 lol!!
Silly question, but are cameras aloud? I was thinking of taking a few piccys and stuff of my 1st bushy meet!! Just for my own collection really just for memorys!!

In general ... Pics of off-spring* are at a parents / guardians discretion and if someone asks for privacy or not to be in pics then wishes should be observed.

Ill be in a tent too mate. I normally (not this time) have the dog with me when im camping so its nice to have her locked in. She has a tendency to wander off if left alone lol. Ive packed everything and the kitchen sink. I want to have everything with me and will leave behind what i dont use next time. Ive got several home made stoves I want to field test so 5 stoves are joining me lol

There is no way I wwould take pictures of other peoples kids mate, its a bit bad taste!! Unless of course they ask for me to snap a family pic to send on or something!!

If you're willing to sell / trade / swap them then bring them along ~ as with everything everyone else's going to be bringing, there's no guarantee that they'll be taken off your hands . The value / price you put on them is wholly up to you .
