Netting Needle.

Hi folks,i,ve been meaning to make a new netting needle for a while,so today with the sleety snow on i headed to the shed and carved myself a new one.
I used Willow.

Here we go,my new needle.

Having had a go at making one myself I realise how good that it - mine was cr*p compared with yours, despite an excellent teacher!!

As a comparison from the shoddier end of the Craft scale, an example of how to cheat if you're in a rush:

I needed to fix the chicken run, and my carved one doesn't fit through chicken wire.

Yours now looks even nicer.

Here is the narrowest of my needles. Found at a flea market, 3/16" wide, made of bamboo.
