wool shirt

I'm after a wool lumberjack shirt to replace an old quilted padded one - anyone got any suggestions of where to get one.

I've already got Swanni - I'm after more of a proper shirt style thing.

your best bet maybe to keep an eye out for some smartwool stuff. They make "technical" garments tho and not traditional shirts but are, by all accounts, excellent quality. Good luck with the latter, if you find anyone in the UK selling them let me know, I've been looking for years and had no luck.

There's Filson . Not cheap but quality stuff. Look on ebay, you sometimes get cheap deals.

I second the Filson advice. They have some very nice hard-wearing wool shirts. They are finely woven cloth that looks great for a long time and seems to wear very well. They are initially expensive but last so long that they are bargains.

A while a go there was someone selling Dockers wool shirts which myself and a few picked up from an eBay seller.

I've had a look and there's nothing there at the moment but worth looking out for.
