Hi guys It's been a while since I posted, I thought I would try out a leather and birch handle. I couldn't wait for my lauri to arrive so I done my next best tool, my triangle file. What I used was birch, antler, and leather. The antler and the red card were thrown in for free by naturgalleriet when I bought my frost fulltang. Everything worked quite well until I started sanding, as you can see by the picture the leather dust got into the marrow holes of the antler and it stuck there
. I will have to seal the antler before I sand next time. Because it will be used alot I sealed it with a few coats of marine varnish which will take a good knocking about. Anyway once I finish my frost I will start my lauri.
