Another brilliant meet
I had some splendid help and expert guidance setting up my laavu project for its first experimental pitch from the most kind and knowledgable Martin.... thank you sooooo much, it was a huge help and I just hope I can remember all the fabulous ideas to include in the finishing stages
The resident squire with his absolutely marvellous burner... gosh, can't WAIT to see that in action!
My pad And my first night on the ground since my twenties as I'd relocated neighbourhood I felt quite brave and kinda liberated, tucked away all stealth-like!
The workparty was well subscribed and really efficient under Steve and Martins expert direction... it's such a pleasure to work as part of the NorthWood team!
Always there with encouragement, smiles, a ready laugh and strong arms
Anyone who has a beef about 'the youth of today' obviously hasn't met any like these lads... you were admired by everyone for your hard work and pleasant company, guys!
When there was a rare moment to stretch muscles, it was always accompanied with smiles.... so much for a surly scowl Damian, I've not seen a picture yet that you havent a cheshire cat grin on your face
Steve may have dropped them faster, but everyone stopped to watch a dying giant topple to the communal axe. It's kinda nice that one went purely by the old ways
The trail hawks were out in force... Chad, is this one on the left yours or does anyone reconise it? Gonna have to ask about the cartridge grub screw replacement, it looks great, I was thinking a mosaic pin but I'm swayed now
There was so much brash generated that it would have taken well into the night to burn it all out!
The Yew Tree is flowering profusely on the south side. I didn't handle them as I'm not sure if the pollen released is particularly poisionous?
Elen, you spent time with us in our thoughts
