Holly - Need Advice

Hi Could anybody tell me whether holly is ok to use for the likes of spoons/bowls etc.Its just i found a downed tree today whilst i was in a local park. Also whats the grain like?

I believe its poisonous IIRC great for walking sticks if you can find a any bits straight someone else will be along in a mo to say I'm wrong!
