I'm officially a Fun guy to be with :lmao:

I couldnt believe it, there were loads and loads of them, on fallen trees. It got a little embarrasing as the people I was walking with kept giggling as I ran over to dead trees and started shouting, "Look, I've found another one".

In the end I just kept a mental note of their location, for future trips.

Thanks for the id guys. :You_Rock_

So from what I have read, this is also called "Razorstrop fungi", and can be used as a "plaster", as well as being prepared as tinder.

Now that I have it, what do I do with it. Should I wrap it up in newspaper, and leave it in an airing cupboard to gently dry out, or do it cut it into smaller pieces for drying.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
