Your help please identifying flint/rock

Hi
Just jumping straight into the forum with no intro as hoping someone could help me identify this rock/ flint.
I am travelling in U.K. at the moment and thought this was a neat find to take back home with me as I love all things Neolithic and figured this was flint. Thing is I thought I found out what type it was at a museum but, if it is that type, it is out of place and I should probably report the find to someone.
Because I am a new member I can't post photos maybe I could send an image via email to whoever is a flint guru? Hope that doesn't seem dodgy?
