has any one read in any books about eating yew berries as i was shown by a old woodsman i used to work with that you can eat them yet everyone i talk to about them say no. i have been eating them now for the best part off 5 years you have to spit the pip as it is the poisonous bit they are very sweet.
in the new forest they call them snoty grots for the obvious reason if you try them
