Yet another new sheath

I call it the P**s Flap Sheath on the design as R,A,F,





Made from 3.2mm veg tan leather which was originally waxed chestnut. It's now black, beeswax and leather balsam and buffed. It's not highly polished as i don't like finishing something that is going to get mucky, sat on, used and abused, i'd rather have it as a user instead of a show piece. Comes with a double welt and stitched with artificial sinew.
Normall steel press stud enclosure and friction fit - and it's tight.
Knife is made by Jus Like That out of 4mm 01 tool steel with oak scales and a scandi grind with minute secondary bevel.

I'm just putting the finishing touch's to another one which has a double dangler and sam browne stud.

Do you reckon 4mm tool steel is the best for the job? or would you have gone a different size?

I didn't make the knife a friend did. But i prefer a 4mm thick knife than a 3mm.

Hey thats a nice looking one,i am at this right moment doing also a sheath with flap.I dont understand why flaps arent so popular but its nice to see someone likeminded.
