Yep, Yellowstone is in fact situated in a volcano crater around 80 kilometers long.

The yellowstone one is a huge hole in the ground with a plug in it, this one they have found under the ocean is huge in the sense that the actual 'hill/mountain' part is huge, but the hole is much smaller, it has simply been bust shoving out a lot of magma for a long time.

Also, for anyone who saw Pacific Rim, you it isn't really just a volcano don't you.
