Woods in Lancashire

I was wondering if anyone has found anywhere decent to practice Bushcraft in Lancashire? Anybody know of any dcent sites?

I once went on a course in Lancashire on a 1000acre estate that had a lake. It was called Wryesdale Estate and i think that it's owned by a farmer, maybe if you ask him he will let you practice in an area.

The Forest Of Bowland is a nice place but i don't know the rules of firelighting and such like. Thats all i know of as I am at the other end of the country.
