That's probably a fair price for your place and time.
I burn that for central heating fuel in the winter. Key point is that you must keep the pellets sealed tight so they stay ultra dry.
I buy 2,000lbs at a time and burn 10,000 over a typical winter at about $225/ton.
Saving some for the next autumn ( from April to October) is a mistake.
Even in the bags, they suck up just enough humidity in my dry house to burn poorly.
Buy fresh and mix them is a rank chore.
