The guy who tests it out highlights all that. His conclusion is that it is a really good and safe bit of kit and fit for purpose. He did say that to get an even idea he would need to test it over time. but his initial trials were very positive. and the price??????? over $300. not for me xDave Canterbury covers this as well. I just get images of half an axe spinning and bouncing back at my head. I do have their boreal saw which is well made except for the circlip that like to leave the saw at inconvenient moments.
I reckon it would be fine whatever. From what I have seen it looks pretty decent all round and there's no reason why it shouldn't be as strong as any wood axe, xThe guy who tests it out highlights all that. Same here. I dont buy anything unless the product description carries the adjective TACTICAL in capsI'm only buying it if it comes in a gucci style man/handbag case with a picatinny rail and optional laser red dot.
I was joking there along with TD. i keep forgetting to put the laughing face icon in. I actually avoid everything that says TACTICAL . its usually just a gimmick or marketing ploy x.We are all different aren’t we?
That adjective wouldn’t prevent me from buying a useful item but it would shove it down my list of choices. While the axe isn’t labelled “tactical”, I find that the word tends to mean heavy, black and over priced.
