I have one of the jml ones with rolls of bags you cut to size.
I use it for meat and fish if I buy too much and want to freeze it or even keep it in the fridge as it does extend the life even when chilled.
I mostly use it for making boil in the bag type meals for the trail as they keep well for a good few days even in summer, nothing beats sausage, bacon, eggs and beans warmed up in my metal mug on the fire then eaten straight out the bag!
