For £12 you really cant go wrong with the craftsman 780... Its the cheapest triflex blade in the mora range if you want a cross betwen carbon sharp, and steel strong. Despite being a plastic, rather than rubberised handle, its very comfortable and grip's well.
It will go hare-popping with a moderate sharpen and a good strop.
I have absolutley clobbered mine battoning, even down to the last half inch of the tip and it hasn't flinched.
Personally found the clipper range a little too neat for my hands , but if you have medium to large hands, the 780's a steal and the blade wont let you down.
I think they are all pretty solid, whatever you decide and it is without doubt the most impressive thing I've bought to-date cost wise.
