Des Pawson: The Complete Visual Guide to Knots.
It's a book, no batteries required. Go outdoors with assorted ropes and cords, sit in the middle of nowhere (or close to it) and do stuff to learn it.

I've got another text on fishing knots, Bimini Hitch and all.
Bought it killing time in an airport book store. Fascinating stories of deep sea big trophy fishing.

I really enjoyed relearning rope splicing from my days on a boat more than 1/2 a century ago. You need a couple of fids.

Next, I want to learn to make really good lashing designs and repairs to a couple of bamboo bar stools for my kitchen. Size 18 tarred nylon ocean seine fish net twine is easy to get here.

I'd like to make a square yard of 2" netting, too.

Another vote for MCQ bushcraft, I absolutely loved his early videos. No one has mentioned Xander Budnick. He films some great camps and adventures in Canada, and his videos are always fun to watch. From an educational point of view, Far North Bushcraft and Survival has a wealth of info. Swedwoods does some well crafted videos. I've never been so keen on the various pathfinder ones though.

I use to watch a lot but sadly most thought they become Millionaires overnight with their not so, subtle product placement. Beer advertisement.
