where to find 01 steel

im am looking to forge a sword and need to find a shop or online store where i can buy some 01 steel that is 1/32 thick 2" wide and approximatly 35" in length

If I've worked this out right that's about 0.8 mm thick.

01 steel for a sword is a bad idea in itself. Too much carbon. You need a good medium carbon or spring steel

He could use mild steel, swords arn't used for anything but playing nowadays.

Wilkinson sword were using silver steel, though given that it only comes in ground rod not ideal for forging.
