If done responsibly, not trashing an area, not indiscriminately damaging trees, ground or sites, not disturbing the locals, leaving no sign when they're done; why shouldn't they ?

This is about as likely as finding rocking horse droppings. Some people will invariably be disturbed as groups of kids without cars do not tend to travel to areas where there is no-one else within 'annoyance distance'.

I was guilty of much of the above during my youth, many decades ago. In mitigation I was usually on the trot - having been found guilty of much more serious offences than simply evading the police. They always captured me eventually but I'd give 'em a damn good run for their money. 26 days was my record.

Apologies - just re-read what I put and it's a bit strong. I don't want to come across as anti-youth or a miserable curmudgeon (though I seem to be doing a pretty good job). I'll get my coat.

PS - I'm pretty sure most people of 'a certain age' love to be referred to as 'youths'!!!
