send both parties an email to check on lead times. you might find they're suprisingly similar.

nobody knows for sure how joe at ODS manages to sell kit at such good prices.

i'd bet that your cheapest and quickest option is to buy direct from the states. :o):

cheers, and.

hmmm
IIRC one was the official supplier to the UK, the other is Joe at Outdoor Supplies, well known around these parts for selling gear at prices other people never seem able to match. Do a search here or on British blades for ODS.

The first true and official supplier in the UK of Maxpedition gear was myself. Please see this thread:

http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1577&highlight=maxpedition

I believe the above will clear up all confusion on the main suppliers for the UK.

This is the first time I have seen anything about ODS and I was this --> <-- close to ordering from woodlandorganics because they're well known.

I wonder why the HUGE price diference?!?

I would have been gutted if I had got it from woodlandorganics and then seen the ODS one :yikes:

Maxpedition Rollypoly Olive Drab Medium Dump Pouch
In Stock £12.82 from http://www.extremeoutdoorgear.co.uk

Maxpedition Rollypoly Olive Drab Medium Dump Pouch
Pre Order £23.99 from http://woodlandorganics.com

So, for the same product, I'm paying nearly twice as much and having to wait for it as it's a pre order?!?

Why do I get the feeling someone's trying to take me for a ride?

I dont think anyone is taking anyone else for a ride. People sell things at different prices for all sorts of reasons. There are pros and cons to any purchase and price is just one part of the package. That's the nature of a free market.

In this case, both retailers are members here, so it's unwise to speculate - it'll only end in tears. Joe says he has them in stock, that's the end of the matter ...so I'm locking this thread down before we spark a dealer war with it. :rolmao:
