Dunno about the best mate but I've just been in my local sports direct and they are knocking out karrimor copies of Nalgene bottles for £2.99 - £3.99

I think you mean BPA ( Bisphenol A).....you're right to be concerned, the Nato/BCB bottles are BPA free & if you google BPA free waterbottles, you'll get plenty of choice....I don't thinks folks on here worry too much about that sort of thing..

Poundland are selling Platypus clones that they claim are BPA free. Thing is even if you assiduously avoid BPA in your water bottle, you are going to get loads of it, every time you cokk a can of beans, because the BPA free movement has not got so far as the vast canning industry yet.

Being low-carb Paleo I'd say sod the beans -- don't eat 'em.

However, it is difficult to avoid BPA. It's even in till recipts:

It's been shown that if you crumple a till-receipt in your hand you end up with more BPA passing through the skin into the body.

The issue of BPA SHOULD worry everyone -- and particularly males who want to stay red-blooded -- since it's a xeno-oestrogen. IOW, it's a chemical that is similar to female sex-hormone.
