What is it for?

I'm feeling quizzical on a Monday afternoon...

Walking through the FC forest above the farm on Saturday I came across this tower. It's about the same height as the tree canopy, and has plenty of guy lines. The bottom section is sealed up with plastic netting and cable ties to prevent access.

First person to guess what it is for wins a.... sense of achievement?

Scientific research (tree canopy)? Or someone is about to built a tree house with relative easy access

Experimenting on the tree's for some sort of test or more likely filming. Only reason filming is more likely is that equipment is expensive.
