What flowers are still out near you?

I've now seen multiple lesser celandine, lots of daisies, a single dandelion, some groundsel and some gorse (but both of those flower all year round here), white dead nettle, and an exotic magnolia. Also laurel flowers starting to open, and male cones on some redwoods. All since the start of the year. The Black nightshade still has berries too.

An ornamental cherry tree near to me seems to be coming out into blossom. Methinks it will be sorry later!

I found some mushrooms last week (Lyophyllum decastes) that usually fruit between midsummer and October. They think it is the middle of the autumn.

There are several species of gorse in the UK, and they all flower at different times: "When gorse is out of blossom, kissing's out of fashion".
