well today i was very very ill after last night and drinking lots and lots of home brewed Cherry Plum wine....

Aye, I have seen lots of huge bees, not sure which species, lots of gorse flowering and daffies flowering up here.

Most of the bumbles around now are the Early Bumble Bee, Bombus leucorum. The really big ones are queens looking for new nest sites.

It costs a lot of money to live simply these days

Still, I have told all my clients I can work after this week - its spring planting which is more important. Seems to freak out board members of large companies that I think planting my veg beds is far more important than their troubles.

As I said to a director of one of the UKs largest retailers last week when he asked why I thought that growing things was better than trouble shooting for big companies

At least on a farm, when you shovel sh**, the sh** stays shovelled
