My uncle gave these tools to me recently. We think they are for cutting leather...

would be interesting to know some info about them! Please help!

This tool seems to work like a drawing compas with a blade that can slide up and down the arm to cut different sizes of circles.

This one strangely looks like a musket! Im not sure if the blade on this one is the origional. Like i said, i havnt a clue how to use them and i asume they are to cut leather.

The top one looks like a circle cutter, you know for cutting circles the bottom one looks like a draw gauge knife for cutting wide straps out of thick leather, having checked online the blade in the second one looks to be fitted upside down.

a top engineering buddy of mine is staying with me at the moment,he says the top one is a 'trepanning' used for cutting a circle as said, both for leather and wood veneirs.
the second item could be a 'stock follower' used on a lathe to cut rifle stocks,he explaned it was a bit like how a key cutter works, one bit follows the contours of a model.

I was told that the bottom one is called a plough gauge . They are for cutting strips of leather as said above . The one i have is still in a box as they are expensive bits of kit . Yours looks a tad antique so may well be worth a pretty penny or two .
