Went for a walk...

Had a good day out today, went up to a place called alcatraz, near Troserch woods (sorta)...Saw a sparrow hawk? (not sure, my mate said it was) and a pheasant I think, made such a crooaw noise, practised making fire with bow drill (success), had a tarp leanto shelter to protect from the wind.

Sounds good. I've just spent 2 and a half hours staying very still hoping that the badgers that I knew were jst a dozen or so yards away would make themselves visible, enticed by the peanuts that I had strewn around, but no joy.

That's twice. Heard them, but not seen them. Lovely night though, with a beautifully clear full moon.

good work lads, i have been at hospital all day with the wife, but all is well for now...

if weather is good 2moz i plan to make a bow drill lesson video. oh and fix the car breaks...
