Went Checking out some new woods nearby

Just a look with SWMBO to see what they were like both for us together walking and for me on my own for a spot of tracking / photography.

and (this is my favorite and likely to be my desktop for a while)

I updated these to tweak the colours a bit....

Yeah - much happier. I'd have been more happy had I not forgotten I'd turned the camera off of RAW mode though. Had to fiddle about in GIMP to get the colours so I was happy...

Woods just the other side of Sherborne. Near Leigh. There are a fair few patches of nice woods near there.

the second one looks even better now. the first one suffers a bit of over-saturation. Take it a bit out again and it will be better.

yeah - I thought that too until swmbo told me that when seen big it looks a bit like a painting. It does too and I quite like it. I've kept all the originals and WILL remember to set it back to RAW next time I go out...
