Hi chaps,

Myself and a couple of lads are seriously considering a little weekend in Norway. - Likely flying to Oslo and camping in the immediate area.

Can anyone recommend a particular place to go? We'd like to go in April, or early May. - We'd like to keep costs down where ever possible.

Obviously somewhere we could have a fire would be a real bonus but not a deal breaker.

All the best
Andy

I have read somewhere that using the public transport there you can gain access to the wilds.maybe an email to the Norwegian equivalent of our tourist board.

"Open fires are not permitted in or near forested areas in the period 15 April to 15 September, and we ask you to respect this. Take care not to cause any damage if you light a fire at other times of year."
