Webbing Water Bottle Holder

About a year ago I got a Dutch army water bottle. It came with a pouch and a belt. I found that whilst this was a useful piece of gear the belt and pouch were too much, for our quick ad hoc wombling excursions.

So I got some nylon webbing, some quick-release clips and made a holder along with an adjustable and detachable shoulder strap. This has made it much more useful as a grab and go item, plus it’s lighter and easier to carry. Took ages to make because I wanted all joins to be really strong, though it is now bomb-proof and you could tow a car with it.

Unintentionally, it reminds me of a water bottle I had as a kid that came with something called an “Adventure Kit“.

Sorry the pic is huge - how do I fix?

Nicely done. You're underlining my need to learn how to use a sewing machine.

All the best.
