Waxed Hemp String Supplier Please

Can somebody please tell me if there is a uk supplier of waxed Hemp string. I am going to be making jewelery from shells and pretty stones "I know this is a bit australian???" but as these will be for a christmas market you pander to the masses.
Any help would be received with gratitude and maybe a sample of the resulting wares

Done the google thing but everything seems to come form the US and would prefer to buy from the uk.

Bentstick thanks for the link looks good, any advice on what type of wax to use?? I was thinking warmed bees wax should do the trick.

Just a block of beeswax. Pull the string through it a few time and the string will pick up the wax. Then pull it through a rag or some soft leather until it gets hot to the touch. That will polish it abd work the wax into the fibres.

You can buy plumbers hemp from B&Q for not much money. Try braiding the string yourself then waxing as previously explained for the ultimate in hand made.

Then pull it through a rag or some soft leather until it gets hot to the touch.

I burnish the wax in with a scrap of brown paper. When the brown paper gets saturated with wax, it goes in the tinder pouch.

(And the brown paper is usually stuff I've reclaimed from packaging anyway!)
