Hi all,
Knowing there are a fair few here that work with both wood and leather I have an odd question you may be able to answer.
I may my own beeswax and oil finishes for wood (usually almond or walnut oil) which work fairly well.
Question one is can you think of any reason this wouldn't work as a leather polish? I'm thinking possibly that the oil could go rancid but it hasn't yet caused a problem on wooden surfaces even fairly porous ones.
Question two is would adding a few drops of essential oil to he mix, just to give it a different aroma, have any adverse effect on either wood or leather?
Cheers, Hamster
