pan of water, put a glass pyrex bowl in, or anything else. Let it simmer until the wax melts. You'll have something in the kitchen that works. An old baked bean tin would work, in a pan of water.
How much are you wanting to melt? I've done 2kg of wax in a 12x8x2 inch baking tray floating in a slightly larger one and was able to dip a water bottle without it overflowing.
Also gone as small as a sardine tin.
Biological waxes all melt in the range of 50-65C. Pot for wax floating in bigger pot of water. Warm it up.
Before you begin, realize that the wax pot will become your wax pot for years.
There's no sense in the labor or the cost and hazards of organic solvent to imagine cleaning it.
