i have never seen a live b adger well not positiveley any way and ive looked theyre supposed to be common in yorkshire

There are dozens of them around here. They seem to spend their time grubbing up fence posts, uprooting saplings, getting up to all sorts of mischief.
I know of 3 setts within few miles, though some did succumb to the early traffic when the clocks changed last week.

Just found a great sett near my site...

Can't wait until until there's a nice warm evening.

Surprisingly (as I live virtually in Central London!) I am regularly woken up at night by a family of Badgers, as they climb into and out of, the Wheely Bins near my back door!
I can also hear their claws clattering on the road surface as they trot back to their Sett.

I was lucky last year to go and see a badger feeding about 10 feet away from me, I have it all on video, right up to the point when I dropped the lens cap and that small noise spooked it. It was an amazing experiance.....................Jon
