Was it or wasn't it?

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
While driving along a narrow country road with a few cars behind me I spotted a bird zig zagging over the loch..... It was quite hard to watch it and not crash so focused on driving.... But I'm wondering if it was a swallow. Damn thing wasn't carrying a coconut, nor would it stay in my line of sight all I saw was white underneath dark on top.. Anyone else got swallows?

Swallows don't usually overwinter in the UK, so they are always looked out for as a sign of summer.

Now that you say so, I can't say I've seen any lately. A quick read up shows that we don't have any swallows here in winter either. I shall join you in eagerly awaiting them:cool:
